About ASMPA-R

• Newest version of France’s ASMP family of medium-range, supersonic, nuclear-capable cruise missiles.

• Plays a crucial role in France’s air-based nuclear deterrence.

Key Features

• Propulsion: Ramjet architecture with dual air intakes for sustained supersonic flight (around Mach 3).

• Range: ≈ 600 km.

• Warhead: Tête Nucléaire Aéroportée (TNA), a “dial-a-yield” nuclear design with 100–300 kiloton options
